My educational journey began at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where I honed my Advertising and Graphic Design skills. Driven by a deep curiosity about human behavior, I furthered my studies in Psychology at the New School for Social Research in Manhattan.
Beyond the academic realm, my experiences have been equally enriching. Born in Brussels, I moved to Israel as a child, where I later served as a lieutenant in an Israeli paratrooper unit. This experience instilled in me discipline, resilience, and a deep sense of camaraderie.
Yearning to broaden my horizons, I headed west to New York City to pursue my academic aspirations. After completing my studies, I became an American citizen, making NYC my home.
But my pursuits extend beyond the professional sphere. As an avid mountain biker, I find solace and challenge traversing the trails of the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, Texas. When the ground no longer suffices, I take to the skies as a private pilot, reveling in the exhilaration of flight.
These diverse experiences have shaped my perspective and equipped me with a unique blend of skills and knowledge that I bring to everything I do.
My passion for designing impactful logos began with the New York City's identity, the Apple Corps. This project led me to create iconic logos for prominent institutions like the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, the NYS Governor's Office on Motion Pictures and Television, and several other influential organizations. Through these projects, I honed my strategic branding, visual communication, and cultural sensitivity skills, ensuring my designs resonated with diverse audiences and effectively communicated brand values. While working in New York City, I tapped into major global initiatives for the United Nations, UNICEF, and Time Inc, to mention a few. I'm excited to leverage my expertise to help brands across different regions and industries achieve their expansion goals.
A glimpse of the past: In the days following 9/11, I was appointed by the NYC mayor's office and TIME WARNER to brand "Leadership in Turbulent Times," the highest-level meeting NYC has ever hosted, in the hope of imparting wisdom and strategy to American executives shaken by an uncertain economy and a new age of terrorism.
